Performing USB sync on a device that was previously wi-fi synced fails to complete--the operating is stuck on 'Removing old content'. Note: - MMW 4.1.1.1766 - MMA build 501 - MMA had previously wi-fi synced 5 playlists (4 nested, 1 standalone) - Sync profile is configured to delete all other media files from the device, but during the sync operation, I chose to _not_ delete any of the tracks/playlists that were prompted for deletion (i.e. - Wi-Fi sync immediately afterwards proceeds successfully.

Debug log: DI8O62Z3P2 This is the longstanding issue with MTP freeze after deleting a file.

Data is always returned in UTF-8 to cater for extended character sets. But, for full compatibility a Free DB client that supports protocol version 6 is required.

On the Free DB Tab you will see the entry "Free DB server". Version 1.0b1 uses a new metadata plugin that doesn't respect the configuration entered in the Free DB options dialog.

KDE: To set the CDDB preferences used by various KDE applications, open System Settings, select the Advanced tab, and double click on CDDB Retrieval.

Make sure that you have checked Enable Music Brainz lookup so that Music Brainz is used directly if possible; then set the Freedb server to freedb.(the other settings default values are fine).

I found that the freeze often happens once MMA or MMW deletes a file on the device and the device is connected just for a few seconds.

I am also able to simulate the freeze without involving MMA/MMW.
